St Thérèse Thrift Center

Our St. Therese Thrift Center is open in the gym down the sidewalk from the blue cinder block building we normally operate it. The work of St. Therese Thrift Center has always been accomplished through the generosity of volunteers, so we need your help to complete our renovations. Most of the work will be simple enough to allow people of all skill levels to participate. We will accept the time you are able to give, so if you have an hour, come for an hour, if you have three hours, come for three, if you have eight, come for eight. Please submit the form below to register for the workdays, or contact Max Harrington at 337-380-2097 if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support!

OUR MISSION is to make available clothes, toys, and home items at very affordable prices. We also provide a way for disaster victims to get clothes quickly and without judgment. We thrive to provide a friendly atmosphere to our customers. All proceeds go to the church. We are manned by dedicated volunteers who help to recycle and reuse items in order to keep our waste foot print way down. It is not uncommon for the homeless to knock on our door asking for shoes or clothes which are immediately provided. Our hope is to draw our community together and be a demonstration of God’s love. We welcome gently used clothing and household items donations as well as monetary donations. We welcome volunteers to sort out donations, price and put donations on shelves.
